How do I order Ingrain Carpet?
Every carpet job is unique. We can help you every step of the way. Contact us to find out more.
How much does ingrain carpet cost?
Because our carpet is typically woven at 36" wide, it is sold by the yard rather than by the foot. One square yard of carpet is equivalent to 9 square feet.
Do you install the carpet?
No. We do not offer installation services, however we may be able to recommend an installer. Please contact us for more information.
How much carpet do I need?
Contact us with the dimensions of the room at both the longest and widest points and we can determine how many yards are required. If your room is more a more complicated shape, please let us know and we can further determine your needs.
How long does it take to have carpet made?
The timeline for every carpet job varies depending on several factors, including yarn color selections and size needed. Larger sized carpets and those requiring custom dyeing will take longer to weave.
What is the carpet made from?
Our Ingrain Carpet is made from 100% wool yarn.
How is Venetian Carpet different from Ingrain Carpet?
Both types of carpet use a very durable and heavy wool yarn and are both flat-weave carpets.
The primary difference between the two is the looms on which they are woven. Ingrain carpet is woven on card-driven Jacquard looms that allow for a much more detailed and intricate pattern. Venetian carpets utilize simpler striped patterns and do not require punch cards for manufacture.
Can I get samples of the carpet?
Yes! Please contact us to request samples. We will do our best to accomodate your choice of color(s) and pattern(s).
What can I expect when ordering carpet?
The first step is to contact us to discuss your needs and the size of the room(s) you need carpet for.
Is there a minimum run for custom carpet?
Yes. The minimum run is 15 linear yards of any custom woven carpet.
What is a carpet sheep?
